In Print: Kinsman Redeemer
I created a custom, fantasy-style map for author Jeanette Brewer’s newest biblical fiction novel, Kinsman Redeemer (September 2025). She looked at ready-made maps but couldn’t find one that combined her desired style and marked all the locations her protagonist travels to. So I made her vision a reality using historical maps, reference books, and digitized map symbols from centuries-old hand drawn maps.
In Print: Solidarity Cities
Find my maps published now in Solidarity Cities: Confronting Racial Capitalism, Mapping Transformation (Collectively authored by M. Safri, M. Pavlovskaya, S. Healy, and C. Borowiak. University of Minnesota Press. January 2025).
I edited, standardized, validated data, checked accessibility, and designed coordinating color schemes for more than forty maps to accompany the text of this new multi-disciplinary publication on the geography of solidarity economies and race. I collaborated with the authors to communicate their research clearly in detailed full-color maps.
Let’s enhance your next book, article, or presentation with maps that speak to the reader and drive home the conclusions of your research.
